: Simülasyon Krizi (Bayraktar, Erdenli)’de Kerem Ozan Bayraktar, illüzyon ve simülasyonu kullanarak dünyamıza farklı bir açıdan yeniden bakmayı amaçladığı fotoğraf ve video işlerini sergiliyor.Orhun Erdenli büyük boyutlu hiperrealist resimlerini ve Steampunk estetiğine göre yaptığı makine benzeri objelerinden oluşan bir serisini sergiliyor. Sanatçı, hem resimlerinde hem de objelerinde, varoluşunun içinde bulunduğu korkunç durumu anlamlı kılmak için uğraşan postmodern insanın inanma, umut ve simülasyona duyduğu ihtiyacı sorgular.
Bu nedenle : Simülasyon Krizi (Bayraktar, Erdenli), toplumun içinde yaşadığı gerçekliği temsil etmeyi amaçlayan, simüle edilmiş imgelere olan inancını incelemektedir, zira iki sanatçı da küresel politik, ekonomik ve ekolojik kriz döneminde mantık ve anlam bulmak için çabaladığımız dünyamızda simülasyona duyduğumuz ihtiyaç ve arzuyu tartışırlar.

: Simulation Crisis (Bayraktar, Erdenli) is the first exhibition in a series of shows called Positions, where Plato Art Space presents contemporary artists, that form important aesthetical and conceptual positions within our local art scene.
In : Simulation Crisis (Bayraktar, Erdenli), Kerem Ozan Bayraktar exhibits photo and video works that aim at reviewing our world from an alternative angle using illusion and simulation.
Orhun Erdenli exhibits large hyper-realistic paintings and a series of machine-like objects that are built according to the aesthetic of Steampunk. In both, his paintings and objects, the artist questions postmodern man’s need for belief, hope and simulation, where we all try to give meaning to the disastrous state of our existence.
: Simulation Crisis (Bayraktar, Erdenli) reviews therefore society’s belief in simulated images that aim at representing the reality we live in, as both artists discuss our need and lust for simulation, where we try to find logic and meaning within our world in times of global political, economic and ecological crisis.
